About Nick Bogardus

I have worked full-time in Maryland real estate since 2015, building a career focused on clear communication, practical guidance, and results that align with each client’s priorities! I grew up in New Jersey before moving to Maryland, and I now live in Catonsville with my wife, Kaitlin, our daughter, Cecilia, and our dog, Natty Boh.

Over the years, I have worked with buyers, sellers, and investors across a wide range of price points, neighborhoods, and goals, including first-time homebuyers navigating the process for the first time, families relocating to new school districts, and homeowners transitioning to the next phase of life. I place a strong emphasis on helping clients understand the market and the factors that influence both short-term decisions and long-term value. I do not try to push people toward any particular outcome; instead, I aim to make sure they have the information and perspective needed to make decisions with confidence. My approach is direct and focused on problem-solving: identifying what matters most to the client, anticipating obstacles before they come up, and handling the details that allow the transaction to move smoothly. I have seen the market shift through competitive low-inventory environments, fluctuating interest rates, and changing buyer expectations, and I know how to adapt strategies to fit the circumstances rather than rely on one approach. I enjoy living and working in the greater Baltimore and central Maryland area because the neighborhoods are distinct, the housing options vary widely, and each client’s situation requires attention to the local details that can meaningfully impact pricing, competition, and timing.

Outside of real estate, I am an avid sports fan, and I follow the New York Jets with consistent commitment, (which is not always easy!) regardless of how the season is going. I also enjoy playing pickleball, which has become a regular way for me to stay active and connect with friends and neighbors in the community. In my spare time you can find me reading history book! 

My time with clients, colleagues, and other professionals has reinforced the value of being reliable, available, and honest, even when the answer is not necessarily what someone hoped to hear.

Living in Catonsville gives me a direct connection to what is happening in and around Baltimore, Howard County, and surrounding areas, and I enjoy being part of a community where people know one another and local involvement carries actual impact.
